I was just reading Ken's book "How to start a lawn care business a whole new way" (http://www.lawnguru.net), great book.

In it he talks about pruning his customers once a year. If there are customers that you find yourself clashing with, he suggests not to raise their price but to simply cancel service for them and replace them with newer clients you do work well with.

Have you found yourself doing this or thinking about doing it?

I think it is a great idea.

I have done this, and it does work. You can replace them quicker than you think.

What factors did you use to determine if you would prune a customer?
