So I am doing work for a lady who is prepared to pay up front for supply's, I am printing her off a list of supplies ill need, but what would I title the paper that I give her? Usually I send invoices after work is completed so Curious if it should be titled something else? thanks

Do you have to break it all down or can you just have her pay the total bill in sections?

1/3 down, for materials.
1/3 when you show up to start the project.
1/3 when you complete it?

Or maybe
1/2 down.
1/2 upon completion?

You could just bill her an invoice for materials and then another for the labor?

I bid my jobs like this... usually....

Materials x 3

Doesn't always apply but I use it 90% of the time.
That way when you get half down, that should cover materials and most labor. Then the 2nd half is mostly profit.

If you don't do it that way in my eyes, and take just a down payment for materials, if they don't pay you the rest, you are out of pocket if you pay for labor.

So lets see if I understand you correctly, my supply invoice was for 200 dollars, it consisted of 3 yards mulch, landscape fabric, and pins. So you would of charged them 600 up front? can I see a sample of your invoice you would send them please. and would you mail it to them requesting it or talk to them in person? thanks

So then what would a final bid price be on such a job?

(Materials x 3) + Something else as the second half?

I would not list things separately. I would list it like this....

3 yards mulch delivered a spread 66.50 total 199.50

I bid it at 25$ an hour per person plus supplies, when the job is done I will let you know how much I made per yard and see which method is more beneficial
