Hey fellow lawn businesses;

I have one quick question. What is a website for very affordable vinyl decals for the tail gate and side doors? I had gone to a local shop and had gotten a quote for $55 for just tailgate, but maybe $200 some odd for the 3. If you guys could shed some insight if that is a good deal or a site online to go to.

Thanks,
Happy Bidding and Mowing Everyone!

One of our forum members (tony) used to do vinyl signs and still might.

696 signs.

696signs.com

See if he can help you out and let us know what you create!

Here's a thread I started that shows my lettering I had made for my truck cap rear window.
http://www.gopherforum.com/showthread.php?t=16505&highlight=lettering

Prices vary a LOT and some quote "by the letter", while others quote by the entire image area. It can be tough to get a side by side price comparison.
Other factors like "colors" come into play as well.

thanks guys. will look into all of the suggestions. the price included install so. And another thing is I would like to have decals on the vehicle, but some guys swear to the back window lettering as well. Which may be a cheaper alternative. guess I will just have to way my options.

One local (national chain) sign place wanted $75 just to apply vinyl.

No reason not to have more than just the back window done. I'm getting my sides done too. The more opportunity for people to view your info the better.

I completely agree. I am going to do a couple jobs and probably invest in the local shop to print them and install them. Less hassle and will look professional so why not.

Installing is not hard if you end up wanting to do it your self

we cut and apply our own vinyl, it took us a little while to get everything going smoothly but they are not hard to apply, you just get a lot of bubbles the first time you apply it to a curved surface. This might be why most people start with back windows. Also a large graphic is much harder to do then smaller things like letters.
