Gate Lift Assist Suggestions.

I have been looking everywhere and the one that keeps popping up is the Gorilla lift. Better options , Make it yourself ? any suggestions or product recommendations

I know a lot of people have built their own with an old school garage door spring ,a length of cable,a pipe and two bolts .

I use the gorilla lifts as do many others in my area, They were very easy ti install and they work great....
