I noticed his absence also. I think hes just taking a long vacation. I dont remember if he does snow removal or not. So he could be just sitting around until spring.

he does have a snowblower ,and he has even been known to drive a mean zeroturn mower on his lawn in the winter ,despite his neighbours trying to have him sent off in a straight jacket .

the winter is the time to come here, what else do we got to do other then plow snow.
the winter months is the only time we have to play on the internet all day and in the summer we are all too busy.

being a parent of a 9 and 10 year old i can not really take full advantage of the time off to vacation unless the kids are off from school like i used to do in my younger single days.
back before i had a wife and kids the winter time was the time for me to live it up and you would have been hard pressed to find me because i was too busy living it up.

boy i miss those days.:(

Most of the winter I've spent my online time battling anti-gun politicians and their followers who think with their hearts and not with their heads.

When not doing that, I was scouring the web looking to stock up on things before they were sold out, or prices increased to insane levels due to panic buying.

I did a little snow removal. Not much, but more than last season.
We mostly had nuisance snow - 2-3" that began melting the next day.
Not enough to prompt calls, and when it snowed more, it was usually on a Friday when people didn't care about the snow being cleared.

Now it's time to start getting back into the swing of things. I'm so tired of sitting around - I can't wait to mow some grass.

Forget about .223/5.56 the only site I found had a waiting list of a month and was so over priced I couldn;t justify it! I stocked up a while ago in fear this crap would happen, good thing I did!

Ammo situation is the same everywhere.

I started stocking up (more) the day after the incident that sparked it all. I knew what was going to happen - I just didn't expect it to get this bad.
The .223 I have will have to do until it comes back down a bit.

I haz plenty of .22L though. And a .22LR upper to shoot it with. :cool:



Customers should mostly be the same. I've only talked to a few so far.
Gonna get in touch with the rest this week to confirm and get my schedule together. Supposed to get a bunch of snow on Monday!
