I have some experience from when I was young trimming bushes and trees. It has been a while. What is a quality brand sheer that performs well for cutting bushes?

Just picked up recently a Poulan Pro Hedge trimmer, gas. Works great. Starts every and is well made. I already had a Poulan blower and really liked the quality and quick starting. I paid $149 and would say it is worth every penny.

You are joking right? Poulan is not known for quality have you tried anything else, I am not even sure if you can find a lower quality piece of equipment if you tried!

LOL. Poulan isnt exactly a brand I would recommend to people. Its barely average homeowner quality at best.

I have a Echo hedge trimmer from Home Depot. I don't think it is "commercial" grade but it has been great for me.

If I had to do it over again I would watch craigslist and pick up a used unit.
