I don't know if anyone is looking for inexpensive advertising, but I just got some shirts made at www.vistaprint.com and they came out great. I used the stock logo they have of a shilloutte of a guy using a weedeater. I put my business name, phone # and company saying on it and at around $14-16 each, I have a permenent advertising billboard anytime I wear it. I also started a website through them and got my first client today from that. I think if your looking for some ad stuff this is a great place to start.

That looks good! Do they offer hats too? Have you thought about maybe a green hat to go along with your uniform?

I don't know if they do hats too, they probably do. I always where my lucky hat though, A New York Yankees hat.

I was real happy with the shirts. They were a little on the expensive side once shipping was added but now I can take them to my local Print Shop and get them made.

I do feel it eases customers minds now that I have shirts. Makes them feel I take this more seriously than just the average joe out mowing yards.

I did the cheapest one as of right now. As of right now I'm pretty happy with it so far, its only been up a week and a half ad I got my first customer from it yesterday. I just have a simple 3 page site right now with the home page, about us, and a contact page. I also put a pic of one of my lawns on the home page. Its pretty easy to add/change stuff in my book and the first 30 days is a free trial then $10 a month after that.

Vistaprint is great.. but they are so funny...

I got an email;

"We wanted to let you know that your shirts have shipped 5 days early!"

They are supposed to arrive on May 5th... It's May 2nd...

What's the big deal Vistaprint? What the hell do I care so long as they come on time?! Unless they arrive last week (which is impossible) I'm not impressed or grateful! :rolleyes:

Thanks! Simple and to the point pretty much, I think. I'm just starting out and dont have a huge amount of customers yet but thought the website would help some and its cheap.

Mine was free the first month, then $9.95 or $9.98 a month, but its so easy to add new stuff to it and update it.

Anything over $5/month is a joke.

I've seen them rated pretty well on hosting review sites.

I use Bluehost.com and I can't say enough about how amazing their customer service is. Real live AMERICANS (no offense to the our Canadian members) answer the phone, or chat live with you when you have a question.
