Some of you use services to tell you what people are searching to find your site. What do you do with that knowledge? Write a post using those search terms? That would be the good thing to do but what if you could automate that?

This is a plugin that you add to your wordpress site that will do just that for you with some randomly generated article. Now it will not show up on the front page so don't worry about that. Because the articles are not usually very good, after 3 days it deletes the article and does a 301 redirect to the original page that the user landed on thus increasing the importance for that keyword. You may show up on the first page but if it is at the bottom of that page it will help you to raise up for that keyword on the original page that it is redirecting to.

Now for the other help....

How do you get the search engines to know when you have put up a new blog post or page? You have to tell them and tell them a lot to get it indexed quickly. Attached is a list of ping sites and no you do not have to do this manually. Wordpress will do it for you. When you log into your dash board go to Settings and then Writing - Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see a bos with something like http://rpc.pingomatic.com and there is usually only one url there. Take that one out and copy and paste the list in the attachment into that box and click save.

If you do happen to subscribe to this plugin and need help installing it just drop me a line and I can help.

To see what it does for a site google Deck Staining and see where you find DeckStainingTips.com it was a #9 a few weeks ago. The facebook page which has nothing done to it in months was nowhere to be found at all before this.

Good luck and hope these two things help.

Very interesting!

Because the articles are not usually very good, after 3 days it deletes the article and does a 301 redirect to the original page that the user landed on thus increasing the importance for that keyword.

How does deleting the article and then having a redirect effect the search engine optimization ability? Does it change the effectiveness at all?

Basically what happens is Google sees it and indexes it for that keyword and says Hey this is relevant. Then the plugin deletes the article and redirects the url to the original article/landing page and when Google comes back it thinks that this article is even better for that keyword and it tends to move up. Look at my rankings for the one site... All are up in ranking.

That is very interesting! I'd figure if the search engines saw a page redirected, they would delete it all together.

They do delete it but they also remember where it was redirected to.
