Help Bidding Irrigation install

Hey guys so I go a huge project today. I mean huge. The plants alone will cost 7 grand. But I need held pricing out the irrigation system. I have put them in before but I have never priced one out. This project calls for me to extend an established system. The zone is already inplace all I will have to do is build the zone and turn it on. How would I go about doing this?

By the foot or by the head? I have herd of guys doing it both ways.
