Whats your view? Are reel mowers coming back? Have you seen lawn care operators carry them?

Reel Deal (http://www.keloland.com/News/NewsDetail6373.cfm?Id=0,58823) - Nick Mattern runs a lawn care business that includes a reel mower in its fleet. "I think there's a certain market for reel mowers and I do think it's going to be growing."

I think they are slowly coming back. I imagine in probably 10 years you will see A LOT of them around. People will have smaller lawns and bigger landscapes.

Have you ever used one? How long does it take to mow a lawn with one compared with a gas powered mower?

I used one many years ago. It was called a lock. It folded up. When it was open it was 6 foot wide and 3 foot closed so you could go through gates. It worked great. I wish they still made them.
