Slovak Republic may name a bridge for Chuck Norris
Wednesday, February 29, 2012, 10:02 PM

Chuck Norris is in a pitched battle against an 18th-century empress — and he’s kicking her butt.

The Slovak Republic government has set up an online contest to allow the public to name a bridge stretching across the Morava River to Austria, Reuters reports.

The way it’s going now the Chuck Norris Bridge is looking like a real possibility.

The polling will end in April, but as of Thursday the “Lone Wolf McQuade” star has got 74% of the ballots with 1,175 votes. The dead Hapsburg royal Maria Theresa has been left in the dust with just 8%, according to the wire service.

How cost effective did you find it to rent the uhaul versus buy a used trailer?

well i can rent a 6X12 trailer like the one in the pictures for 39.99 a for a 24 hour period. Im currently looking for a trailer, Ive found a couple but they are either already sold or I cant get a response from the owner. I kinda wish uhaul would sell these trailers cause they are low profile and really kinda sharp after you get past the orange and white but after there decommissioned they cut them up and scrap them. Theres some sort of patent on them that keeps them from selling them.

Theres some sort of patent on them that keeps them from selling them.

Early on, they didn't sell them because they wanted to easily see when a trailer was stolen and repainted, since they are all custom and stick out like a sore thumb. Maybe they still keep to this.
