Is there a Weedman in your area? It looks like this franchise is growing. Would you ever consider getting into such a franchise?

100TH WEED MAN LAWN CARE FRANCHISE OPENS IN UNITED STATES (http://www.areadeveloper.us/franchiseopportunities/?c=weedman&p=press&id=1148) - When Joe Kemp and Jim Watson of Port Huron, Mich. signed on the dotted line in December, they became the owners of Weed Man's 100th franchise in the United States. Weed Man of St. Clair County is part of Steve Russell's Weed Man sub-franchise territory, MIK Holdings, which covers Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky.

Turf Holdings, Inc. started selling United States Weed Man dealerships through a sub-franchise system in 1996. The territories were established based on population. There are 13 sub-franchise territories in the United States. Two hundred twelve unit territories have been sold.

How should a lawn care operator position themselves and market themselves if they find a weedman in the area? Should an lco change their marketing strategy?
