I picked up a 2003 Steiner ZTM325(zero turn) today at a house auction,
alittle bit about the mower
25Hp Kohler engine
61" cutting deck
300 hrs on it
It has an foot operated electronic deck height adjustment
with a good bath it would look brand new
it was 20 Degrees here today in WI and it fired right up with no problems and runs great. .
I was the highest bidder and paid $2,800 for it. .
i did my research before the auction and found no bad reviews on these mowers. . .
Any Thoughts?? have you used this brand before??? do you think i got a good deal?? or over payed??? give me your honest opinion you wont hurt my feelings :D

I think that was the last year that model was produced. They were not bad machines just they are part of the same company as Bobcat and they wanted to run less lines. They dropped that mower in favor of the Bobcat one. You should still be able to get most parts from any bobcat dealer. And you also if the hours are correct you got a good deal, they just seem really low for a 2003 model... even for a homeowner.

thanks for the info on the "bobcat and getting parts" i did not know that. . i agree with the low hours(meter reads 0300.1 ) . . but it was owned by a old guy who died 9 years ago. .(o man it sat for 9 years???) no, the guys daughter didnt like using it and his lot was only an arce long, so she said she used a normal riding lawn mower. and each week that she mowed the lawn her husband would start the zero turn and ride it around to keep everything fresh, she also said every year they would bring the mower in for oil changes and check ups even thoe they didnt use it because she said her dad paid around 11K for it. . if he really paid 11K for it new?? i dont know...
