Need some Help. Walk behind shuts down when put in gear.

Hi Everyone,

I'm in need of some help, I have a 48" Exmark walk behind that is shutting down when I try to put into gear or engage the blades. The mower runs fine while in the neutral postion and no blades running. Does anyone know what I should be looking for?

Make sure your safeties are all connected. On my old one it prevented starting with the blade engaged and it would shut down if you didn't hold the t-bar with the blade engaged. It was a manual (lever) blade engagement not an electric (push button) engagement.

check your safety shut downs lots of time its just a ground wire look at grear shift or aroun d for wires it works just like a kill swich
