Have you seen any electric only lawn care operators in your area?
How about using a Prius?

Quote[/b] ]The solar panel on the roof of this Toyota Prius is a $4,500 aftermarket add-on produced by California-based Solar Electrical Vehicles (SEV).
The roof panel, which boosts fuel economy in the Prius by about 15 miles per gallon, also works on Toyota's popular Highlander Hybrid SUV. On the Highlander, it more than doubles fuel economy, according to SEV.
Isn't that really cool! That is more than what most trucks get! Now if you add the extra 15 miles per gallon you get on top of the 50 or so it gets normally. WOW! http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/yourock.gif

You can kiss the high MPG goodbye pulling that trailer...not so sure that a Prius is even rated to pull anything at all.
I suppose there would be a niche out there for clients that are ecologically aware and would welcome it. I'm pretty sure GMC or Chevrolet offers a full size hybrid pick up truck that fill the bill. Add that solar panel to it and it might be something that would work.
Worth keeping an eye on it to see how the concept plays out.
