How important of a selling point is it that a franchise sets you up with customers after your two week training course? Even though this franchise is in the UK do you think it has a good idea and it could work here as well?

Get a head start in lawn care with a LawnHopper franchise (http://www.thefranchisemagazine.net/franchise/Lawn-Hopper/Your-first-customers-provided/1890) - LawnHopper is a pioneer of lawn treatments in the UK. It is the brainchild of Nigel Owen-Thomas, who started the company in 1995 having spotted a gap in the market for a company providing lawn care solutions tailor-made to the different climates in the UK.
"Secondly, we actually provide customers for our new franchisees. This means that once franchisees have completed their two weeks' training, which includes certification for the use of herbicides, they can launch their business with actual customers, which gives them a head start."
