My name is Brendan (Bren) Half way through my first season going ok.... is there any other users on the forum from the uk ????

Couple of questions the principles of marketing should be the same regardless of country but i have not seen any threds or advice about using local news papers to advertise i have tried a coulple of ads but had very sketchy success any advice?????

Have you checked out my lawn care business blog (http://lawnchat.com/?cat=54) here. There is a section that discusses newspaper ads (http://lawnchat.com/?cat=54).

What other methods have you been using to attract customers? Do you have craigslist for your area or something similar?

What about business cards? Do all of your friends, family, and neighbors know you are in business? Do they help you get the word out about your business?
