Weed & Feed vs. Burn & Churn

I need to know if there is a better weed & feed product than another. What should I watch for? Is there a chemical compound that is a complete nightmare? I want to make these lawns GREEN - greener than they already are.. I wanna show who's boss with the weeds and make some people smile. Or do I just wonder down to Wallymart and pick up what's on sale?:confused:
