The number in my head is "9am", but there may be various local ordinances that say differently.

I start at 8am. The company that does the park down the street from my house starts around 7am and are almost done at 8am. I think 8 is a reasonable time to start plus i dont really want to start any earlier.

9:00 here, excavators 8 but everything else is 9 unless the clients allows otherwise. Most areas we are not allowed to work Sundays, fines are very stiff.

I'm not supposed to work on Sundays either, still do from time to time.

As for when you should start your day.

I think the law can back me up on that from where I am.
Though, because of morning dew, I usually start my first lawn at 9AM.

7/7:30AM = People leave for work/school
8/9AM = School begins

If you start at 8-9, you will usually avoid the school buses and the morning rush depending on where your route(s) takes you.

When you start at 8:00AM and there is no morning dew, you'll get a chance to work when there is less heat a.k.a avoid dying.

I plan on starting at 8am. I believe that is the noise ordinance here in Spokane. That is if spring EVER gets here. It snowed yesterday.

Our local by-law is no noise before 7 am, but we aim to start around 8 unless we are behind.

Although I like "9" as a starting point, I had to start at 8:30am today because we were expecting rain by 9/10ish, and this grass was too high already.

At least I got most of the way finished before it started raining.

I would love to start by 8am but our life doesn't allow it. With our daughter in school. I take her to school at 8:35am. Come home load the trailer up, eat some breakfast if i haven't already done so. then hit the road about 9:00-9:20am and start our first property about 9:30-10:00am Now thats most days. We dont work weekends unless it rains during the week and it forces us to work. Cant work this weekend since it's easter. That be wrong to work on a holiday in my eyes.

Nothing before 7am for us. As with JMADEWELL09 its too hot much later. 6 would be better but I would hate wake someone up. When I had a night job, the apartment we stayed at had the guys there by 6:30 and there is nothing like being woke up by a blower running.
