How true is this? Did school ever train you or inspire you to start your own business or was it training to work for someone else?

Do you think schools should do more to promote entrepreneurism?

Students encouraged to consider entrepreneurship (http://www.charlescitypress.com/articles/2007/02/01/news/news02.txt) - Students in the Charles City High School entrepreneurship class on Wednesday were encouraged to explore their own business opportunities by guest speaker Janet Woodruff, entrepreneurial education consultant for the Iowa Department of Education.

“We many, many times raise students to go be able to work for somebody, but they don’t honestly look at the mindset that they could create their own business and be an entrepreneur,” she said in an interview before her class presentation. “A lot of it is awareness and creativity. Especially with the Internet, there’s a lot of businesses people can do right out of their home.We just don’t sometimes think about that.”
