View Full Version : Bidding on a job and need help!

I just started my business a few months ago and am not really comfortable with most of the pricing structure yet. I need to put together a bid for a commercial job that has a ditch that needs to be sprayed with round up that is about 6000 feet in length and 8 feet wide. They are looking to have this maintained every 2 weeks. I am not shure how often it will need to be treated and what to charge. I am completely lost and any help would be very much appreciated.

This is an amazing job you have encountered, however there seems to be a license you need to apply roundup commercially!

You better look into this!

other than that, i will look around the forum for some ideas, as i have none :o

Yea the license thing would be an issue if you don't have it.

Could you possibly perform the job with a line trimmer?

I really think the only practical way to do it is to spray it. unless I had a crew of 4. I am in the process of getting a liscense.
