Hey guys, I wanted to introduce my self. My name is Tony and i'm a recovering addict to your youtube video's. ;)
I'm interested in starting my own lawncare business. I'm no longer happy with my place of empoloyment as a computer technician. I've been here for 8 years and I feel abused and uncompensated. Years ago I spent a few summers cutting with my cousin and his lawn care business. I really enjoyed being outside as well as the hard work ethic that was involved. We were a two man operation including a 60inch dixie chopper and a nice trimmer, which ever one of us finished first grabbed the blower and we hopped back into the truck to hit the next lawn. We had a lot of fun blazing through the lawns and were able to cut 20 before lunch some days and finish off the day with 20 more. My cousin had one heck of a business going and cut for almost 20 years before moving onto a roll-off dumpster business.
I've talked to him about me starting it back up in order to get out of my current job situation and he thinks it's a great idea. Me being a computer tech, I began to research on we web and stumbled accross your website.
I'm planning to purchase the same equiptment that we used to use as his dixie chopper is still going strong to this day. It was bought new in 95!
I'm looking for any insite and information to ad to my past experience and my cousin's knowlage that would help me get going. I'm sure it's not going to be easy to grab up a bunch of accounts right off the bat, so i'm looking for all the advice i can get and crossing my fingers for success.
