Not a bad idea Ron. I will have to think about how I would do this. I have an idea but want to look into it more.

How does optimizing a site for mobile phones help your business? How important do you think this is?

More and more people, especially the younger generation, are using their smart phones to access the web to find information. With this, if you have a site that is easy to navigate via the mobile platform you are more likely to get to your potential customers in the 20 to 45 age range. As this generation ages it is going to become more and more important that you have a site that is mobile ready because the older ones will still be using the phones and the younger ones will be added to the pool.

The Google search results are also different. For instance if I search "Deck Staining Tips" on the computer the result is #5 on the first page. On my phone it is #2 for the same search.

I think behind good SEO and good content optimizing for mobile phones is the next option you should look at.
