Monday annoyance

I deposited a check for $400.00 on Dec 14.


I found the 'same?' check, from the same customer - SAME DATE, SAME AMOUNT, in my wallet.

I'm confused.


How did I manage that. I'm certain I deposited it, it says so in my online banking.

I make a photo copy of every check deposited.

Does your bank scan in an image of deposited checks or just checks you write?

That is a good point and this discussion is a good example of why you need to keep your own records.
