We finally put the new site online tonight. There are still a few things to work out but we wanted to start having Google crawl it now.

I am still working on the blog. Pressure Washing Louisville, KY (http://www.louisvillepowerwash.com)

Most would not have this large of a site, but this is going to be the anchor site for several more sites to come. Web design (http://xtremeseoconsulting.com) and SEO (http://xtremeseoconsulting.com) is more than just making the page look pretty. It requires a plan.

It is not as expensive as you think. $12 per domain and less than $10 per month for hosting all the domains that you purchase. You do not have to purchase hosting for every domain individually with GoDaddy.

Now you want to see why I preach so much on content. See the link below. I dominate page one. The only result that has nothing to do with me is #5. My pages are 1-4. That means only one spot for competition.

That is awesome!

We have been talking a little more lately on here about using word press. What is your view about using word press when you make a website along with using it for your blog software? Are you using it on this new site or no?

I will show you what one looks like when I get done. Wordpress is the bomb right now. very fast indexing and crawling. at one time my site had 22 bots crawling it at the same time.

Take a look at my SEO (http://xtremeseoconsulting.com) site. That one is wordpress. I have not had much time to work on it though.

The Veteran Power Wash Blog (http://www.louisvillepowerwash.com/blog) is ready for them to start inputting the blog posts. The neat thing is there is a plug in that will update the site map every time there is a change and then update Google and Bing every time.

You did an excellent job with the site. What tips do you give them when it comes to writing blogs because most people it seems detest writing anything.

For one, you have to be passionate about what you are writing or it is best left up to a professional writer. You can get someone to write posts for you very cheap. Secondly, You should attempt to make them no less than 250 words to about 500 words.

In the bigger picture, should the goal be to get people to read the blog or is it more important that it has your chosen keywords in it to get a higher ranking in search engines?

I really like ixwebhosting.com for hosting my lawn care (http://hungrygoatlawns.com) website, it was $45 for a year with a domain name included. you can purchase domains anywhere you like and then associate them with your site host's servers.

their customer support is also quite good.

My very first site was a Google Site and I had it ranking very high in 1 years time. It only costs $10 per year but there are limitations.

Just an update on his site. Alexa ranking for his site is now down to 3.8 million from 21 million when we started.

Pages are now showing up in the SERP's also. This is just after a couple of days in a competitive market.

Sorry the attachments are not what I thought they were.....

attachment 1 is the 2nd page of that keyword search and I have not even put any info on the URL yet.

2nd attachment is the same thing only different key words.

Showing up this soon on the second or third page is very good. Turned the hosting on the same time.

Pat,

It would be great if he could track the % increase in calls that came from his website.

I bet if you tracked this with your customers, over time, you would be able to say to everyone, when I work on your site, you will see on average a X% increase in phone calls because of it.

Well the traffic has definitely increased. Before we started, the Alexia ranking was over 21 million and now it is down to 2.7 million. The site is climbing the search results also.
