Hello Tom here,

I'm new to the site and semi-new to the lawn care business. My dad has handed over a decent amount of lawns to me that he has been taking care of for almost 20 years now. I'm trying to expand on this and make it a full time thing (during summer and hopefully winter as well). I've made my flier and have put it up in numerous places. Handed out A LOT of business cards, and now am in the mode where I'm either calling businesses or even walking into their place of work to see about servicing their lawn for them.

I have had some new clients sense taking over, so therefor I've got my DDA and everything else necessary to properly run a business of my stature for the time being. I couldn't find any invoices that really suited my needs so I made my own and would like to get some input on its design.

Please feel free to say whatever it is you think about my design, whether being good or bad, I'm really looking for honest straight up opinions.

my flier and invoice sheet can be seen below.

Hi Tom,

Welcome to our forum.

Being that your dad had been in business for the past 20 years, did you find he did much advertising or did he rely mainly on word of mouth?

Was he able to give you some tips to help you going further?
