Use Bluebird Power Rake for Seeding?

Have any of you guys used a bluebird power rake successfully for seeding? I am not saying verticutter, but a power rake, with the flailing blades. I know it will tear lawn up more... but will it work well? If so, please describe your successful method.

I haven't seen too many discussions on them here however that doesn't mean they are not being used.

Has anyone experimented with them?
