Can anyone tell me if I need to be charging sales tax for providing lawn maintenance in GA?
I know you need to be licensed to spray weedkiller commercially in GA. Does this apply to fertilization?

Each state is different on how they handle this and a simple call to a local accountant would tell you for sure. But what I have seen so far is that services to homes tend to not be included in sales tax but capital improvements, tend to be taxed.
So usually a mowing isn't but planting a tree is.
It's better to be safe than sorry when dealing with this, so let us know after you contact someone local in the know about this.
