Hi everyone,
I need assistance how to edge my customers lawn edging. I am current using a manual pair of shears (which I know is ridiculous) I have read somewhere that a 'half-moon' tool is also available for edging. Not sure how to use this tool.
I have tried a gas-trimmer but edge is all over the place and not straight.
Any help is welcome
Thanks

I have done quite a few edging jobs this season, and all I ever use is an edging spade and a weeding tool. You can get the spade at most local suppliers like Aubochawn Hardware. I edge the bed, or ring first then come through and really clean it all out with the shovel. It takes some getting used to, but Ive watched my worker go from some sloppy Edges(thankfully at his own house) to some pretty nice curves. Its a cheap investment that can make you a lot of money. I'll post some pics when I get my comp back online. If you are going to do a lot of straight edges, it might be easier to use a gas powered edger, just make sure it has a wheel to roll on, and to run a string line.
