Well, I be transitioning into semi-retirement early next year and am working on starting part time lawn care business. I'd appreciate any suggestions, thoughts, do's and don'ts from the rest of you part timers out there.

Have you been able to get any customers so far? Friends, family or neighbors?

Not yet. I haven't gotten that far yet. Still shopping for equipment and trying to put together advertising logo, fliers, business cards, etc. I'm going to target fall leaf pickup / areation hope it will lead into mowing jobs next season.
