Well another disaster of a week.. Couldn't go out Monday & rain on Wednesday... It's going to be one hell of a Tuesday for me.
On Monday I woke up & said I'm going to go at it alone, leave my guy sleeping knowing he's not that useful. I woke up, looked outside my window & didn't really notice that it had rained. It looked dark, which I thought was a good thing considering it's not the dreadful sun. ... I had my coffee, my shower... Put on some clean clothes & tied my boots on.. grabbed my wallet & phone & went outside...
IT WAS PISSING OUT! HOW DID I MISS THIS??? LOL
I hate rain now, so inconvenient. Sure I could have enjoyed the time off, but knowing the workload is piling up just annoys me.
The customer I had who told me to go cut his grass, my money will be in his mailbox - if not ring the doorbell for it if he's home bla bla, he called me today.
Customer: I noticed you didn't cut my grass.
Scott: I went to your house when you said you'd either be there in person to pay me, or the money will be in your mailbox - you weren't there & the payment was not in your mailbox.
Customer: You can't just continue mowing, like you have to have payment right away or what? Is that how you work? I am good for it, you should trust me.
Scott: I hear that a lot trust me, & it's nothing personal when I say I require money before I do any work. I have been burned before & just keeping myself safe.
I'm so fed up with these fools. I don't walk into a grocery store, load up on food & tell the clerks, "I'll pay soon, you should trust me".
Life doesn't work that way. Why do people seriously expect it from us?
What is it about our business that is so different from the rest when it comes to transactions/payments?
You hire a service, pay for it, the work gets done...
IF ANYTHING our business should be the most well understood for being strict with payments, as every dollar is strictly required to run our operations, we bust our asses!
What do you guys think? You ever get fed up about this crap?
People are always trying to take us for a ride, they always want to cheat us out of business.
