A lot of state budgets are very low due to the economy. Because of this, the visibility at many road and highway entrance ramps are impeded due to tall grass.

If you see a hazardous situation like this, why not act on it.

Take a picture of you mowing the grass area and send it to the local paper. Also after you mowed the grass, stick a yard sign in it to attract customers.

Let them know it was you who made the area safer.

Just as a word of caution, though: before mowing such areas, a lawn company better make sure they have the proper right-of-way permits and insurance required by their state. Otherwise they will find themselves in a heap of trouble.
