irrigation

I have been asked several times about designing and intalling irrigation systems. Is it worth getting into and do you need training for it ?
I have 8 years in residential plumbing but i have never come across this before any insight would be gratefull.

I would bet if you went to your local irrigation supply house, they would give you a pretty good walk through and from there you could experiment at home before you offered the service to customers.
