Cutting Your Grass Could Cost You (http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/local/news-article.aspx?storyid=62669) - "In dollar amounts we run about $300 a week. That's our trucks. That's $300 a week per truck," said Patton.
The price of gas, now at more than $3 a gallon at most pumps, is bringing Patton's business closer to the brink of raising their prices.
"The line we've drawn in the sand as far as gas costs is about $3.50 a gallon. Once we hit $3.50 a gallon that's when we're actually losing money and we look at renegotiating all our contracts," said Patton.
A normal day brings just one truck about 80 miles around town, a busier one, and he's up to about 125 miles.
