I had a good chuckle yesterday, wish I would have had a camera with me and thought of our own Breeze here.
I am digging a foundation in a new subdivision, was really enjoying the amazing weather when a construction company pulled into the lot next door, I assumed they were the framing crew. Anyhow they had a cargo trailer, white with amazing lettering, their truck looked great also, I thought to myself that is a very professional setup, I sure hope they are doing well and they must be to have that gear.
At the time I could not quite read the lettering, it was a bit small for the size of the trailer and I was quite a distance away, when I stopped for lunch and headed to the truck I saw "Breeze Construction", anyhow I had lunch with the three guys, we chatted a bit about their work, mine and the economy in General. They were saying they have the same issues we do, fly by night companies doing shotty work for nothing but many developers simply don't care which makes it hard to earn a decent buck. I told them I haven't run into this much in excavation but lawn care, clean up's, pressure washing and a few other services can be tough sells depending on the area. They have the same attitude as I do, stick to the upper middle class area's and you will do well once you are in.
I'll be back at the site tomorrow and will remember to take a picture, he told me the lettering was Air Brush, it really is something to see, various shades of Blue on the white trailer, I told him in my banking days we did a marketing study on the most effective colors to use, Blue was number one as prospects saw this color as a sign of trust.
Anyhow thought I would share that.
