Have you ever considered what it would take to change a mower over from gas powered to electric powered?

Would there be a business in creating such a conversion? Is there a need for this service? Is there a demand for such mowers? Would this be better for residential customers or commercial ones?

I am just wondering this in case you couldn't afford an electric mower on sale now and wanted one.

Theres alot of guys out there that are converting their cars over to electric motors. So if you knew what you were doing, I'd imagine you could put together a lower cost mower if you wanted. A zero turn frame is pretty big too so you'd most likely be able to fit it all in there...I just wonder how long it would be able to hold out powering those hydro pumps.

I guess it would take some experimentation. Also, would you use hydro pumps or electric motors?

Yea I never thought of getting rid of the hydro's for electric motors. That would make more sense haha.
