Been in the business a longtime doing commercial work, HOA's, condo's, shopping centers etc. Also owned an L&O pest control company. Retired at the end of 08 but really want to get back outside. Non compete agreement requires that I stay out of the commercial area so I'm looking at doing residential work.

What did you like better, the lawn care or pest control business?

I enjoyed both but the margins on the pest control were better and the pest control was easier to sell.

That is very interesting! Why do you feel it was easier to sell and do you think it is a good additional service, lawn care business owners should consider to offer?
