I was working in the shop yesterday and last evening on inventory for the summer and thinking boy this year flew by fast!!! Then I herd the forecast, heavy snow New Years day, great I will get to go out and plow, hard to believe it's -15 here this morning and it now calls for rain, the down side to living on the Atlantic, major temp swings.
I hope everyone has a great New Years eve and all the best in 2010, personally looking forward to April, while I love woodworking this working outside is really in my blood and I look forward to getting back on the gear and having some fun, yes making the $$$ is great also.
All the best from Nova Scotia!

Been going over finances and costs the past few days. My business licence for 2010 will be $529.00. About 500% increase over 2009. Based upon gross receipts not profit. As of today, I have only 21 months mortgage on my house.
Contracted 2 fairly large sod jobs for March this week. One commercial and one residential. 18,000 and 10,000 sq. ft. respectively. Secured a guaranteed price for the sod so there shouldn't be any surprizes.
Spending tonight home with my vicious 19 year old attack dog (or should I say - door bark). The boss is working 6P to 6a with the State Police. She is a certified forensic nurse. I most likely will not see the new year come in.
Looking forward to a good 2010 business wise.
Happy New Year and the best of business for you all.

Happy New Year To everyone too!
I hope you all had a great year of growth and look forwards to a new year that will be bigger, better and happier!
