Most of us have probably heard about the country music band The Dixie Chicks publicly stating their displeasure with George Bush.
Their new album came out at #1 and is still there for the second week but ticket sales in red states have been down presumably due to their outspoken political viewpoints.
Have you or others you know been turned off to The Dixie Chicks because of them stating their political views?
Also does it make a difference that they are entertainers and musicians? The world's history is full of artists singing songs, making paintings, writing books on historical events. Should The Dixie Chicks be any different?
Should business state their political view points?
Does your business?

Bush, are weathering sluggish ticket sales in several cities for their upcoming U.S. tour, industry watchers reported on Thursday.
