It's probably one of the best inventions ever.

I used it for a short while, then lost it.

Now if they can only make an electric cigarette that looks like a cigarette. The thing is a bit bulky.

This is a great topic Arthur!

You have reminded me to go pick up another electronic cigarette lol!

(they actually work well for anyone who is interested)

Another few things that are great about this product.

Your clothes don't smell, neither does your truck or home.

You don't need an ashtray, or even have to use makeshift ashtrays out of coffee cups, lol.

I still haven't replaced the one I lost, so I'll write a note down for myself to get one this week.

I spend around $42.50 a week on cigarettes which is pretty awful.

The only way I was able to quit before, was to move in with my friend for a week & leave my wallet at home. As soon as I got to my friends I was already losing my mind.

So my friend & I played computer games for that entire time, & ate pizza every day.

The only problem is that I couldn't drink anymore, considering it makes me want to smoke like crazy. So hanging out with the friends got boring fast, sadly I made the decision to give in & start smoking again to enjoy my life & the time with my friends.

I went through an entire year without a cigarette, I then realized how miserable my life was when I tried doing the things I used to do, like going to the bar or Friday night barbecue parties. I just couldn't enjoy myself. Being a smoker is a whole different lifestyle in a way.

Quitting smoking is like having hot water without the coffee. Nothing is the same ever again. Lol.

The worst part is, I thought that I was still young enough to give up on smoking in due time, though if I look back & count the years that I have been smoking (& saying the same thing to myself) it really adds up. I have been smoking for 7 & a half years.

It's sad because the only reason I ever tried a cigarette in the first place, was to prove to my parents that there is no such thing as a cigarette addiction. Lol, I was wrong!

Though considering I have no friends now anyway lmao, good old business scares them away. I am very interested in trying to quit again.

LOL, if I continue trying to prove things wrong I'll end up dead.

"You wont die if you start a car in a closed garage!" ... dead. lol

"Death from raw beef? Give me that!" ... dead again.

I attempted to get myself another E-Cig, though now in Canada we are unable to get them because they aren't yet "tested" to see if they are harmful.

I read the article (March 2008) & laughed, "E-Cigs may be harmful" oh really? So I guess smoking the real thing is a better alternative!

So how come they haven't bothered testing them yet? They had a friggen year! I guess they don't want the cigarette industry to go out of business, :p

I know someone that uses the e-cig. The problem I see with it is there is no dosage. When you smoke a regular cigarette you know how many you smoked that day, but with an e-cig, how do you know how many cigarettes you smoked? Versus just smoking it constantly all day?

What you said makes absolute sense. Though I think it goes by how many puffs a person takes. X amount of puffs = 1 cigarette or something. Someone like me would never keep track of that.

I wonder how many cigarettes are equivalent to 1 cartridge or wtv they are called.
