Check out this article. Here Matt Wilson was able to get press coverage on his good deeds and promote his company Matt's Mows Lawn Care Services at the same time.

Does this inspire you to send out press releases of your good deeds to local papers to get a story written up about you as well?

Getting to know (http://www.connectionnewspapers.com/article.asp?article=66955&paper=61&cat=104) - A soon-to-be graduate of Lake Braddock Secondary School, Matt Wilson took the entrepreneurial road by starting a lawn care service. Aside from the business and starting his first year at George Mason University's School of Management, Wilson also finds time to give back to his community through charities such as Habitat for Humanity. He is this week's People Profile.

Current job/primary occupation. Sole proprietor Matt's Mows Lawn Care Services: marketing, finance, customer relations, general management and landscaping.
Achievements. Own and operate successful lawn care service, which donates 5 percent of profits to the Habitat for Humanity and the National Coalition for the Homeless. I have met with the executive director of the National Coalition for the Homeless at their national headquarters and involved employees with Habitat construction sites in the past; and participated annual winter Christmas-Coat Drive.
