Did you get out today and shop on black friday? Were there any items you were looking for that were on sale?

I went out to Walmart, It was a mad house, got there at 5:30 Am.
got some stuff for the grandkids. Thank God I order the Digital Camera ( Sony cybershot) and Tomtom online before I left. You could not get into the electronics section.

I went to Lowe's for ceramic floor tiles for my kitchen. Tiles 20% off, materials (glue, spacers, tile saw, grout) 25-40% off. My wife went to Wal Mart and a few other stores. I spent much less!

I estimated I would be there about 2 hours. Only took 75 minutes. It was busy but well staffed.

My wife was gone 7 hours!

Personally I stay clear, why??? If I need or want something I simply buy it, I can't stand crowds and traffic.

I went to wally world and picked up a bag of dog food. It wasn't on sale though.:(

Waited until about 10 to go so the rush was over but still more people than usual. Dog food is about the only thing I buy there. I can't stand all the products made in China, even the fish!

I have found this Car GPS on sale online $250 OFF the price of $420. It was also free shipping but I am having a hard time with the order and hopefully the sale doesn't end tonight. That would be a bummer if i wake up tomorrow morning and it's back to regular price. I'd be :mad:

Well speaking of swimming, it does suck.

Though I learned something very important for those who may drive their vehicles in the lake/ocean for fun or accidentally.


I used to think vehicles with roll windows were smart in case you were submerged, but the fact is power windows are safer & will save your life. Roll windows wont work...

I want to test this... but not right now... I just put on a fresh pair of socks. Life is all about socks. Nothing beats putting on warm from the dryer socks to begin a day, a great day indeed.
