Hi all,
For the past few days I have been building a new website for next season. I have been getting very proficient at an old language - PROFANITY!
RSS, Shoping Cart, SSL and a few dozen other mysteries. I am using a Web 2.0 dynamic template from Microsoft Expressions 3.0 (A year ago it was Frontpage). It has modules for Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, FAQ, etc.
The help functions are fairly good and the forum is helpful also but ..........
It seems to have everything one could possibly want and maybe even need except a mental health section. Everytime I get to a point where I know what is what, I find out that what is not what! An even bigger mystery - WHY! Why is this here and WHERE did it come from?
The learning curve has too many hairpin turns in the curve. Thursday I had 0% understanding. Friday I had about 50% understanding. Saturday I had 85% understanding. Today I have 25% understanding (maybe)!
Had to get away from it for a while and blow off some steam before I take a gun to the computer.
Steve
