Electric car company going public

The electric car company Tesla, is rumored to be going public shortly. What is fascinating about this is, it will be the first automotive company to go public since Henry Ford took his company public in 1954!!!!!

To me it's incredible. We are witnessing a sea change now in the automotive industry. Will the big three survive it? Who knows. It is quite fascinating to see that they needed government bailouts at a time when another automotive company was set to go public.

I think that is very interesting. I think it goes to show that you can still survive in this market if you play your cards right. I mean, come on. They don't have a series of models. They have only one model that is currently in production. I think the article said they reported about $1 million profit from a $20 million gross. For a start up car company, that is pretty good I think. Wait till they get multiple models, especially models with lower MSRPs.

As I posted before, the North American car companies are not even in the market, Electric powered but how was the electricity produced....I have a TDI turbo Jetta that will even blow the smart car out of the water and its bio diesel.
