Hedge Trimmer advice?

I am looking to buy a used hedge trimmer, probably on ebay. I did quite a bit of research before buying my other handheld equip. and ended up getting redmax stuff. However, I haven't done much looking at hedge trimmers and need to buy pretty quickly. I have noticed that there are quite a few pretty clean looking echo trimmers on ebay. What do you guys think of echo hedge trimmers? Should I look at something else? I don't want to spend alot on the hedge trimmer at this time b/c I feel that I won't have alot of work with it for now. Thanks for the advice.

All I've ever used was echo hedge trimmers. If they are properly maintained I believe that they do a great job. I just recommend you keep a bottle of WD-40 handy and spray the joints down every couple time you use it.
