Snow removal and salt

Hey everyone,

I'm new to this site, but not to the field. I have a question about snow removal and salt.

I had a guy call me today asking for an estimate on three commercial properties he has. He wants snow removal and salt. How do i calculate this estimate? I know how long it will take me to plow but i have no idea how to price out salt applications. Thanks for your help. ~shawn~

Did you play around with the online snow plowing calculators (http://lawnchat.com/?page_id=341) here?

It will let you enter a bunch of figures in for your overhead and expenses and give you a bid price. It might be helpful.

What kinds of things have you been doing to market your services?
