Okay this is my very first bid of any kind.
I have no employees just me and a friend we have a mower if we win the bid i can get the trimmer and edger and blower on credit.
But i still have to finish plying the state of utah for my license. Get insurance. i think i am going to lose my mind. I have no funding available to me at all, i been out of work for almost a year now just been luck not to lose everything so far.

So what do you think a good bid for this property would be.

What is the size of total land of the walmart. what does it include? I.e. Mulch, beds, parkinglots? etc. And how big is the mower you use?

Well my suggestion to you is to get the quote or estimate from the last person. or one your competing with and go from there. Ask your contact person what they are exactily looking for.

Casey,

Another thing we have seen lawn care business owners do on here, is if the project is large and they have no idea on how much time it will take them, offer to do the job free once. That way the customer gets it free one time so they benefit and you get a chance to see exactly how long it will take you so you can create an accurate bid.

What do you think of that?

That may not be a bad ideal now that i got my grant money thank God, you have no ideal how have -$4523 balance to the bank is, then 2 week later hit like 680,000$ thats a good feeling.
So no need to say i have some Real Equipment to use now.

Keep us posted on how it goes with Walmart, if you do perform a free service to get an idea how it should be billed.


Also, can you tell us about grant money. What is it? How does one get it? I bet there are a lot of readers that are interested in that.
